Welcome to North Wilts Bowls Club!
We are the only Bowls Club in this area of Wiltshire that can offer bowling facilities throughout the full year.
Our indoor arena boasts a full size 6-rink carpet and caters for all levels of bowling from the very beginner to the most advanced County and National players. Outdoors, we have 6 well-kept green rinks, which are open from late April to September each year for lawn bowls. Both facilities give you the opportunity to play as a representative of the club in friendly matches against other clubs, or to play in County or National matches and competitions.
With adequate car parking, a licensed bar & restaurant, toilets and changing rooms, we can also cater for the less abled members of the community. We accept members aged from 8 to ‘very senior’, male and female, and of any physical ability. At the present time we have around 500 bowling members and 100 social members.
The club belongs to its members and operates as a registered Limited Company, run by an elected Board of Directors whose responsibility is to ensure that we comply with the existing legislation and that the club is financially sound. We own our own facilities on land which is leased from Wiltshire County Council.
