North Wilts Invitational 3-Wood Pairs Event - Feb 1st 2025
North Wilts held a very successful Invitational Pairs Event on Saturday 1st February. This was the second year we have held this event and we plan to make it an annual event going forward. Sponsored by Jack Humphries Builders Ltd and Audio Visual Solutions, we had 16 pairs of very talented bowlers taking part, travelling from far and wide to play.
Played in four groups of four as a round robin with the top two teams from each group going through to an open draw quarter-final, the competition was eventually won by Scott Edwards and his partner, Lucy Smith. They beat North Wilts' own father and son duo, Geoff and Andy Moore, to take home the £450 top prize, leaving Geoff and Andy with the consolation prize of £150.
